Health Systems and Policy Monitor (HSPM)
An innovative platform that provides a detailed description of health systems and provides up-to-date information on reforms and changes that are particularly policy relevant. In parallel, the Health Reform Tracker (see the Tracker tab) provides an overview of health reforms in over 30 countries across the WHO European Region and North America. A first step in the assessment of environmental sustainability

As part of the Health System Performance Assessment (HSPA), a first step has been achieved in evaluating the environmental sustainability of the healthcare system. The objective was to assess the system’s environmental impact across seven key areas: the overall environmental footprint, air emissions, buildings and energy management, high carbon medical products, sustainable food, waste management and the circular economy, and water management. Although data quality remains limited, the analysis shows that action is needed.
